What To Do After Joining

When you enter the lobby, use the multiplayer NPC to join public games. BingoMC is a Minecraft bingo server where players collect items from a bingo card in survival Minecraft. A normal game usually has up to 8 players, and private games can support up to 16 players. Your First Minecraft Bingo Game

A public game starts with a vote. Everyone in the pre-game lobby picks the settings together, so your first round may not look like your second one.

1. Card size. Cards come in 9, 16, and 25 items.
2. Difficulty. Easy, medium, hard, or grindy. Each level above easy mixes in the pool one step easier, so a hard card still has easier items on it. Grindy requires a rank.
3. Full card. On, you have to collect every item to win. Off, a row, column, or diagonal wins.
4. Lockout. On, everyone shares one card and each item can only be claimed once. See lockout bingo.

When the game starts, every player is placed at a random location inside the same survival world. There are over 120 items to play with, so the combinations on a card are effectively endless. The Minecraft bingo item pools page lists exactly what each difficulty can draw from.

Rules That Catch New Players Out

BingoMC is survival Minecraft with a handful of rules changed, and those changes are what turn it into a race. The full list is in the server guide, but these are the ones worth knowing before you start.

• No hunger. You never need food, so skip the early food detour.
• You keep your inventory on death. Dying costs you time, not items.
• You respawn somewhere random. Dying is sometimes a free teleport out of a bad biome.
• No hostile mobs. Peaceful mode is on, so caves and the nether are a lot less dangerous.
• No PVP. You cannot kill the other players, only outrun them.
• It is always day. No night, no sleeping.
• The world border is 2500 blocks in each direction from 0,0.
• The nether is open, the end is not.

Commands Worth Knowing

• /search shows the names of the items on your card, useful when you cannot tell two textures apart.
• /rejoin puts you back into your previous game if you disconnect.
• /reset restarts your timer and inventory in singleplayer.
• /setspectate lets you watch a starting game from the pre-game lobby.
